This week, the Stillage lineage continues and a perfectly-sized Pale Ale returns:
The brewing of English-style ale runs deep in our history.
Our love for these session-able and characterful beers grows with each turn in the Stillage series.
This 4th variation is a British-style Golden Ale brewed with UK-grown Maris Otter and malted wheat. We used a blend of English hop varieties from Charles Faram, including East Kent Goldings, and Harlequin (which is a new Faram proprietary hop).
Golden Stillage is 5 % abv, and has notes of peach, honey, pineapple, and English tea. It's a wonderful summertime beer, and you can find it in our taproom, on draft and in cans to-go.
Tow Motorin' - What's your price for flight?
Our perfectly-sized Pale Ale has returned:
We first brewed Tow Motorin' back in March of 2021, as an ode to our precious Hyster forklift, which has never let us down (even though it recently blew a seal on the hydraulic lift cylinder...and it rarely starts up on the first try....and it could use a fresh set of tires).
This is the 3rd batch of Tow, which we brewed with Midwest-grown barley, flaked wheat, and a blend of American hops. You can expect lush notes of blueberry, mango, and mandarin oranges. It's also available this week in the taproom, on draft and in cans to-go.
